The College will hold a training session for CESR applicants on Thursday 25th November 2021, from 10.00am to 4pm. This training session would be beneficial for anyone thinking of or in the process of applying for Specialist Registration via the CESR route and will be held virtually on zoom. The training session will include:
What is CESR and who is eligible to apply?
Tips on how to prepare a CESR application in Ophthalmology
An overview of the process and why some applications are unsucessful
Practical exercise on reviewing an evidence bundle to provide guidance on types of evidence submitted
Question and Answer session.

11.45 – 12.45 Practical Exercise 1
The group will talk through the application and evidence guidance with guidance
using the GMC information pack. This gives the delegates an idea of the type of
evidence required and how to present this, verification, and the opportunity to
ask questions about the CESR process and evidence submission.
