Emergency eye care - 14.00 - 16.00 24 September 2021

Emergency eye care - 14.00 - 16.00 24 September 2021
Firstly, Emergency Eye Care services are pivotal to the provision of overall ophthalmic care. Eye Casualty is where many patients' first contact with ophthalmic services occurs, and is the filter for many patients who require further care. The ever-increasing demands on the NHS are well documented. This webinar considers how Emergency Eye Care services can adapt to meet these challenges, and serve all the stakeholders well? Secondly, no matter what our place is in the eye care landscape, we may all encounter patients requiring urgent ophthalmic care (not least as some senior clinicians were redeployed to Eye Casualties at the start of the pandemic). A clinical primer on emergency eye conditions is a valuable chance to learn or revisit what we all should know.
