New Consultants Course
The College is aware of the gap between knowledge acquired during training and the daily demands on consultants and this course is aimed to address this. The course will ease the transition to your new role and it will provide you with a number of skills, which you will use on a daily basis. The two day course will be delivered face to face on Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 February 2023 at the Royal College, 18 Stephenson Way, London, NW1 2HD. It will be co-chaired by Ms Aabgina Shafi, RCOphth New Consultants Lead and REA Yorkshire & Humberside (North) Region; and Ms Bita Manzouri, REA North East Thames region; and facilitated by Ms Sudeshna Patra, Clinical Network Director at Barts Health NHS Trust; and RCOphth Leadership and Management Lead. ST7 trainees are also welcome to attend this course.
