Tips & tricks of critically appraising scientific literature
This is the second of three webinars exploring clinical trials, they can be booked as a group or as a standalone event. The objectives of this session are: 1.Understand the principles of critical appraisal specific to ophthalmology research. 2.Learn techniques for evaluating the quality, validity, and relevance of ophthalmic research studies. 3.Develop skills in identifying biases, confounding factors, and limitations in ophthalmology literature. 4.Gain proficiency in interpreting statistical analyses commonly used in ophthalmic research. 5.Acquire knowledge on how to apply critical appraisal skills to inform clinical practice and research decisions in ophthalmology.
